SOUTH BEND - Dorothea "Dee" Jura, 79, of Regency Place of South Bend, IN, formerly of Walahalla and Lakeview, MI, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13th, in Hospice House Palliative Care, Elkhart, IN. Dee was born in Milton Township, MI, on January 5, 1931, to Warner and Maude Hause, who both preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her son, Steve (Deb) Jura, and brother, Ronald Hause. Survivors include her three children, Scott (Marcia) Jura of Delphi, IN, along with their three sons, Jonathan, Martyn and Silas Jura; Sandu (Dan) Harrell of Granger, IN, and their children, Bryan (Haley) Harrell, Brittany (Wade) Iams and Lauren Harrell; Shaun Jura of Delphi, IN; and the grandchildren of Steve (Deb) Jura, Mike (Jennifer) Jura, Misty Jura and Marc Jura. Dee is also survived by three sisters, Elaine (Jim) Shupe, Bobbie Soule and Wanetta Mahlich, all of Michigan, and five great-grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be arranged by McGann Hay Funeral Home, 13260 SR 23, Granger, IN, at a later date, but the family wishes to thank the many caring people who have assisted Dee while at Regency Place of South Bend and Hospice House.
