SOUTH BEND - Cheryl L. "Cheri" Juhasz, 61,
passed on Saturday, March 8, 2008, in her home with her family by
her side after a brave, long battle with cancer. Cheri was born
on June 19, 1946, to the late Thomas L. and Madalyn L. Eader.
On December 28, 1990, she married Steve
Juhasz III, who survives along with a son, Thomas T. (Julie) Kryder
of Nampa, ID; a daughter, Shanyn (Dan) Green of South
Bend; a brother, Thomas D. (Cathy) Eader of Granger; a sister,
Janie Hienold of Hilo, HI; two stepsons, Steven and Jon
Juhasz of Niles, MI; six grandchildren, Nakai, Mackenzie and Dana
Green, all of South Bend, and Jacob, Jamie and Lori Juhasz, all
of Niles, MI; a niece, Erin Williamson of South Bend; and
by her nephew, Thomas Eader of St. Croix, Virgin Islands.
Cheri attended South Bend Public Schools and
graduated from Riley High School. She later earned an associate
degree in accounting. She also worked as a private Nanny for 15
years. Cheri and Steve started a sailboat charter business in
Saugatuck, MI, where she was a licensed captain. Along with her
love of sailing, she enjoyed riding their Harley. She loved
riding on day adventures with her husband and friends. Cheri was
an auxiliary member of Legion Post 357. She was a loving, devoted
wife, mother and grandmother. She was loved by many and will be
missed by all who knew her. The family would like to give special
thanks to Dr. Bilal Ansari and the South Bend Hematology Oncology
Staff, along with The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Road, South Bend. A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
