SOUTH BEND - Frank Juhas, 78, of Sylvan Lane, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday in St. Joseph's Care Center-West. Mr. Juhas retired from Bendix Corp. He was born Dec. 30, 1916, in South Bend. On Oct. 12, 1940, in South Bend, he married Mary Porogi. She survives with a son, Robert of South Bend; and two brothers, John and Charles, both of South Bend. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and Bendix Local 9 of the United Auto Workers union.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home.
