MISHAWAKA - Reda F. Juday, 83, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed
away at 7:05 AM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at her home. She was
born on November 29, 1926 in Lakeville, IN to Sidney and Dessie
(Fisher) Smith and remained a lifelong resident. On May 10, 1947
in Lakeville, IN she married James D. Juday, who preceded her in
death December 30, 1994. Reda is survived by four daughters,
Deanna Juday of Mishawaka, Darlene (Mark) Hauger of Bristol, Joy
Juday of Osceola and Cheryl (Scott) Corpe of Osceola; her son,
Larry Juday of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Lori Hauger, Alan
Hauger, Kevin Hauger, Sarah Jones, Carrie Spencer and Jennifer
Inks; four great grandchildren, Morgan, Ethan, Benjamin and Emma;
and one sister, Wilma Elkins of Plymouth. Her sister, Norma
Stealy and her brother, Jimmy Smith both preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 16, 2010
at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South
Bend. Rev. John Gregory, pastor of St. Mark Missionary Church,
Mishawaka will officiate. Private graveside services will be held
at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may visit
with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to services on
Tuesday. Contributions in memory of Reda Juday may be made to
South Bend Conservatory/Potawatomi Greenhouse, 2105 Mishawaka
Ave., South Bend, IN 46615 or to Center for Hospice &
Palliative Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
