Stanley C. Jozwiak Jr., 86, of Jackson Road, North Liberty, Ind., died at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, in Saint Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, IN. He was born March 1, 1915, in South Bend and was the son of Stanley C. and Antoinette (Wasikowski) Jozwiak. Mr. Jozwiak retired in 1975 from White Farm Equipment. On June 26, 1937, in Terre Coupee, IN, he married Jennie Kowalewski who preceded him in death on July 26, 2001. Also preceding him in death were three sisters. He is survived by two daughters, Sylvia (Robert) Downs of North Liberty, and Charlene (Frank) Bralick of South Bend; six grandchildren, Bob (Marcia) Downs, Bonnie (Richard) Stewart, Marianne (Darrell) Crane, Kim (Joe) Brough, Kelly (Greg) Goodzey, Mark (Stephanie) Bralick; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Nemeth of South Bend. Family and friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 South Mayflower Road, South Bend, where a rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Mr. Jozwiak was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church.
