SOUTH BEND - Gladys M. Jordan, 86, of Champaign, Ill., formerly of South Bend, died at 5:10 p.m. Monday in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Ill. Mrs. Jordan was born July 6, 1907, in Port Huron, Mich.

On June 18, 1928, in South Bend, as Gladys M. Kelb, she married Elmer P. Jordan. He died Jan. 2, 1987. She is survived by a daughter, Norma Heck of Champaign; one grandson, Ken Hays of South Bend; and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Memorial services and burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
