OSCEOLA - Edward N. Jordan, 66, of Osceola, passed away in
his home on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Ed was born on April 10,
1942, to the late Ernest and Esther (Hawk) Jordan. On
October 2, 1965, he married JoAnn Emerson. He is survived
by his loving wife, JoAnn; two daughters, Dana (Michael) Grant
of Mishawaka and Carrie Bell of Elkhart; two
grandchildren, Madison and Nathan. He is also survived by two
brothers, Ralph (Rosemary) Jordan of Granger and Robert Jordan of
Texas; and three sisters, Virginia Kemp of Columbus, Ohio,
Joyce Morrison of Colorado and Loretta Boncea of
New Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by two
brothers, Ernest Jr. and Walter Jordan. Ed graduated from Riley
High School in 1960. He proudly served his country during the
Vietnam era in the U.S. Marine Corps, before being honorably
discharged in 1964. He worked in tool & die at Allied
Products for many years and retired in 2008 from St. Monica
Catholic Church. He was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic
Church where he belonged to the Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00
p.m. Tuesday, September 9, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776
McKinley Highway, Osceola, with a Rosary to be recited at 3:45
p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday, September 10, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508
Vistula Road, Mishawaka, with one hour of visitation prior to
Mass. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens,
Osceola. Memorial donations may be made to Queen of Peace
Catholic Schools or to St. Monica Catholic Schools.
