Wayne Curtis Jones

Wayne Curtis Jones, 54, passed away of natural causes at 6:09 p.m. on Monday, June 15, in the St. Joseph Community Hospital. Wayne was born on Oct. 13, 1943, in Champaign, Ill., to Kenneth and Etta Jones. Wayne worked for Webber Manufacturing of Elkhart, Ind., as a purchasing agent for the last five years. Wayne was also a member of American Legion Post 308, Osceola, Ind., and was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Wayne is survived by his mother and stepfather, Etta and Wayne Holycross of Niles, Mich.; one son, Curtis Wayne Jones of Elkhart; a daughter, Sheryl L. Rupchock of Bristol, Ind.; two grandchildren, Jessica and Bryan Rupchock of Bristol; one stepsister, Debra Holycross of Mishawaka, Ind.; a stepbrother, Daryl Holycross of Plymouth, Ind.; and a loving companion, Sue Sewell of Osceola.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Curly Jones on June 26, 1982.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Samuel Burkshire officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Cemetery, Granger, Ind.
