Sister Mary Clotilda CSC, 73, died at Saint Mary’s Convent at 10:154 p.m. Saturday after a lengthy illness. She had taught in the schools of the eastern province of the Holy Cross until illness brought her retirement to St. Mary’s in 1956. She was born Marie Regina Jones in Baltimore in 1888. She was educated in Baltimore and entered the Sisters of the Holy Cross in 1908;receiving her habit in December of that year; and she made her profession of final vows in 1914.

A requiem high mass will be offered in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto at St. Mary’s at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, with burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, on the campus. Friends may call in the convent parlor.
