head of the Usher Board. Linda was born-again and turned her life
over to Christ in 1998. Linda loved the Lord and regularly hosted

Thomas Brown; her adopted mother, Augusta "Madear"

Harper, Rica Clay, Brittany Clay, Sonjia Clay, Crystal Clay and
Richard Clay; five sisters, Venita Fultz, Carol (Pete) Slade,

humanitarian. She was a woman of faith, kindness and generosity.
She served the community by working at the Center for the
Homeless and Dismas House. She spent most of her life putting
others before herself, sacrificing so that those she loved would
not go without. She taught others what love truly means, and she
showed by example how disappointments and setbacks could be
turned around into something positive. Today she watches over all
of us and her memory continues to enrich our lives. We were
fortunate to have her and we'll always love her. Services for
Mrs. Linda Kay Clay-Jones will be held on Thursday, February 11,
