Jack M. Jones

December 28, 1917 – March 8, 2000

Jack M. Jones, 83, of Sprucewood Lane, South Bend, passed away on Wednesday March 8, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.

Mr. Jones was born on December 28, 1917, in Kent OH to the late Elmer Jones and Mary Bowes.

Mr. Jones was employed by Princess Homes for ten years and Williams Home Center for 12 years.  Mr. Jones was a member o Christ the King Catholic Church, and was a WW II Army veteran.

On February 15, 1947, he married Hedwige Lenczowski, who survives.  He is also survived by a son, Mike Jones on South Bend; grandchildren, Andrea and Mike Jones, both of South Bend; and by a brother, Don Jones of South Bend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10-am on Saturday, March 11, in Christ the King Catholic Church, with entombment to follow in Highland Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm today, March 10, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be held at 4pm.
