Dorene F. Jones

Dorene F. Jones, 75, of West Russ Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away following an illness at 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 15th, in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, South Bend, Ind. She was born on March 22, 1924, in Arkansas, to Robert and Maggie Anderson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Anderson and Luther Anderson.

On June 9, 1972, as Dorene Reeves, she married Bob ''B.J.'' Jones in South Bend. He survives. She is also survived by two daughters, Sharon Garver of South Bend and Fannie Winters of Florida; two stepdaughters, Bonnie (Jim) VanDeVoorde of South Bend and Colleen Hammell, also of South Bend; two stepsons, Duane (Donna) Jones of New Mexico and Jonathan Jones of South Bend; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and by three sisters, Lorene Orten of Texas, who is Dorene's twin sister, Mildred Younger and Bernice Jones, both of Arkansas. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Granger, Ind.

Services for Mrs. Jones will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, where friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday. Officiating the services will be Pastor Charles Wood, with burial following at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
