GRANGER - Joseph Youngbok Jo, 60, of Granger, Indiana, passed
away Monday, December 14, 2009, in Kosciusco Community Hospital
following an automobile accident. Joseph was born July 30, 1949,
in Chungnam, South Korea, to Chul Woo and Chung Soon Lee Jo. His
parents survive, along with his wife, Hyun-Hi Jo of Granger, and
their children, A Seo Jo of New Jersey, A Mi Jo of Granger and A
Yeong Jo of New Jersey. Also surviving are his brothers, Young
Chan Jo of South Korea, Young Sam Jo of Germany and Young Min Jo
of South Korea, as well as his sister, Young Shim Jo of
Mishawaka. Funeral services were held at the Michiana Korean
Church on Thursday, December 17th, 2009. Joseph was a licensed
acupuncturist in South Bend and Fort Wayne for many years. He was
the choir director at the Michiana Korean Church, as well as an
Elder of the church. He served as president of the Michiana
Korean Association, and was a member of the Oriental Medical
Association of Chicago, Illinois. Online condolences may be sent
