SOUTH BEND - Edna Johnston, 93, of Lehigh Acres, Fla., formerly of 925 S. 25th St., died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Anthurium Adult Facility, Lehigh Acres. Mrs. Johnston was born March 16, 1902, in Monterey and lived in South Bend until 1988.

On Oct. 1, 1921, in South Bend, as Edna DeMont, she married Raymond S. Johnston. He died in 1987. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Johnston of Lehigh Acres; two grandchildren, Dixie Johnston of Lehigh Acres and Philip Johnston of Kokomo; and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Christian Center Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Culver. Friends may call two hours before services Friday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
