OBITUARY
MRS. LUCY JOHNSON.
Mrs. Lucy Johnson died at 11:20 o'clock yesterday forenoon
at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Myers, in Warren
township, aged 65 years. The cause of Mrs. Johnson's death
was dropsy of the heart, with which she had been confined to her
bed 10 days. Mrs. Johnson was a widow and the mother of
Mrs. Jane Price, of Newton, Mich.; William A. Johnson, of South
Bend; Mrs. Susan E. Stroup and Mrs. Rhoda F. Myers, of Warren
township; and James E. Johnson, of Montgomery county,
Kansas. The funeral took at 2 o'clock this afternoon from
Fairview chapel and the remians were interred in Mount Pleasant
cemetery. Rev. H. W. Krieghbaum officiated in the presence
of a large number of relatives and friends.
