MISHAWAKA - Tina A. Jiles, 21, of West Marion Street, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Memorial Hospital after being involved in a traffic accident at Butternut and Edison roads.

Mrs. Jiles was born Dec. 26, 1973, in South Bend. On Nov. 12, 1994, in Mishawaka, as Tina A. Newgent, she married Bodie Jiles. He survives with a son, Raymond at home; her mother, Joann Newgent of South Bend; her father, Joseph F. Newgent Sr. of South Bend; a brother, Joseph F. Newgent Jr. of South Bend; and paternal grandmother, Doris Newgent of South Bend. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church, a graduate of Washington High School, South Bend, and a former member of the school band.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, South Bend. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
