OSCEOLA -- Robert M. Jensen, 74, of
609 W. Adams Street, died at 8:23 a.m. Tuesday (November 22,
2005) in his home. He was born on October 12, 1931, in Lakeville,
Indiana, to James Peter and Madelene (Hodson) Jensen.
He married Shelda L. Kuneff on May
16, 1959, in Osceola, Indiana. She survives, along with one son,
David P. (Kim) Jensen of Nappanee, Indiana; one daughter, Susan
L. Jensen of Indianapolis, Indiana; and one granddaughter, Renee
L. Jensen of Nappanee, Indiana. Also surviving are two brothers,
Larry L. (Carol) Jensen of Lakeville, Indiana, and James R.
(Barbara) Jensen of Charlevoix, Michigan.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in
Zimmerman-Inman Funeral Home, Osceola Chapel, 1109 Lincoln Way
West, Osceola, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m.
Saturday. Rev. Brian Beeks of Osceola United Methodist Church
will officiate. Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation
Services, and burial will be held at a later date at Fairview
Cemetery in Mishawaka.
Mr. Jensen retired in 1994 from Shafer Gear
Works in South Bend where he was employed as a truck driver. He
worked part-time for the past five years at Clean Sweep Custodial
Service in Mishawaka. He graduated in 1949 from Lakeville High
School. He was a member of Osceola United Methodist Church and
helped start The Council Oaks Woodcarvers Club. He also enjoyed
playing golf, and restoring old cars and tractors. Bob was a Navy
veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. Memorial contributions
