SOUTH BEND - Deborah "Debbie" Jensen, 47, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008, in her home. She was born May 3, 1960, in South Bend, to Robert Wayne and Frances (Brinker) Britton.

On September 2, 1978, in South Bend, she married Rick Jensen, who survives. Mrs. Jensen is survived by her husband, Rick; two daughters, Jaime (Joe) Pyburn of South Bend, IN, and Stacie (Janus Flora) Jensen of South Bend, IN; a son, Ricky Jensen of South Bend, IN; a granddaughter, Lily Pyburn; a sister, Sherry Redman of Englewood, FL; and two brothers, Robert Britton of Arkansas and David Britton of Florida. Her mother-in-law, Anna Jensen of South Bend, IN, and an uncle, Earl (Dorothy) Britton of Hamlet, IN, also survive her. Mrs. Jensen was a homemaker and a lifelong area resident. She was a former employee of Barger Packaging in Elkhart, IN. Mrs. Jensen enjoyed camping her entire life at Jellystone Park in Pierceton, IN. She enjoyed riding golf carts and playing bingo. She loved her dogs, Candy, Tula and Pepper.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday (today), February 20, in the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel to assist with final expenses.
