Sister M. Ruth Ann CSC, 82, of St. Mary’s Convent, died Thursday in her residence. She was born June 29, 1903 in Fiskdale, Mass., and entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross on Feb. 2, 1937. She was received as a novice Aug. 15, 1937 and made her profession Aug. 15, 1939.

She was assigned to Business Administrative Services and served in the business office of Mt. Carmel Hospital, Columbus, Ohio from 1939 to 1973. From 1973 to 1983 at Holy Cross Convent, Brookline, Mass. and came to St. Mary’s Convent in July 1984.

Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in Church of Loretto, will burial in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Friends may call in the convent parlors where a wake service will be at 7 p.m. today.
