Harry F. Janowczyk

Harry F. Janowczyk, 71, of 55197 Melrose, died at 1:25pm Friday in St Joseph’s Medical Center after a three month illness.  He was a former cutter at Simplicity Pattern Co, Niles, where he worked for 41 years.

He was born on August 27, 1928, in South Bend, he married Helen Rudynski, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Leona T. Dvorak of Elkhart and Mrs. Rita Skibinski of South Bend; two sons, Ronald J. of South Bend and Fred of Summerville SC; 15 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bridget Stajkowski of South Bend and two brothers, Bert and Chester, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10am Monday at St Stanislaus Catholic Church.  Rev. Casimer Grabarz will officiate.  Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery.  Friends may call form 6 to 9pm today and from 2 to 9pm Sunday at the Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7pm Sunday.  Hew as a member of the Holy Name Society at St Stanislaus.
