Sister Mary Georganna CSC, 72, died Thursday in Saint Mary’s Convent. She was born Cecilia Catherine Jaeger in 1897 in Pesotum, Ill, and resided in Fort Wayne until she entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross. She received the habit in 1918 and professed her vows in 1920. She taught in schools in Idaho, Utah and California prior to her retirement to St. Mary’s Convent.

The funeral mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto and burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at St. Mary’s. The body may be viewed in the convent parlor.
