Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Jacobs

Mrs. Elizabeth Lee Jacobs, 77, of San Jacinto, Calif. formerly of South Bend, died  Tuesday morning at Hemet Valley Hospital, Hemet, Calif. She was a retired employee of the Housing Authority in South Bend. Born May 4, 1906, in Richmond, Virginia, she lived in South Bend for many years, before moving to California in 1975. On July 18, 1927, in Paw Paw, Mich. she married Walter C. Jacobs; who died in 1969. She is survived by a son, Claude A. of Redlands, Calif, three stepdaughters, Mrs. Alice E. and Mrs. Betty V. both of Sturgis, Mich. and Mrs. Margaret A. of Marion, Ind.; two stepsons, Francis C. Jacobs and Morris C. Jacobs, both of South Bend; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildern; a sister, Mrs. Frances of Sanforn, Fla. A son, Robert E. Kelley, died in 1981.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., with David paster of River Park Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Cancer Society.
