Mrs. Chloe V. Jackson, 87, of 107 S. State St., North Liberty, died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in LaPorte Hospital after a brief illness. She was a retired school teacher. She was born on May 18, 1892, in North Liberty, and had lived there all her life.

Her husband, Louis, died on Sept. 18, 1964. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. LaVon Oglesby and Mrs. Lura Pommert, both of North Liberty, and a brother, Harold Felgar of South Bend.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the A. M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty. Dr. Gaylord Saltzgaber, pastor of North Liberty United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the North Liberty Women's Club and the Friendship Class of the United Methodist Women.
