Donald H. Jablonski, Jr.

SOUTH BEND - Donald H. Jablonski, Jr., 33, of Bertrand Street, South Bend, Ind., was found dead in his home on Sunday, Jan. 24. He died unexpectedly in his sleep.
Mr. Jablonski was employed as a Process Engineer/ Quality Coordinator with Atlas Die, Inc., in Elkhart, Ind., for one year. Previously he was employed as a Microbiologist-Analyst in New Jersey from 1995-1997.
He was born on Sept. 20, 1965 in South Bend, Ind., and had lived here most of his life.
Mr. Jablonski is survived by his mother, Sandra (Ron) Garrabrant of Granger, Ind.; his father, Donald H. Jablonski, Sr. of South Bend; his maternal grandmother, Regina Bauer of South Bend; his brother, Mark James Jablonski of Beverly Hills, Calif.; one aunt, Karen (Paul) Rafferty of Richardson, Texas; three great-aunts, Helen Jablonski of South Bend, Hildegarde Sikorski of Rockford, Ill., and Phyllis (Wallace) Sosnowski of Sterling Heights, Mich.; two uncles, Kenneth (Joyce) Jablonski of South Bend, and Fred Bauer of South Bend; and several cousins.
Mr. Jablonski was a 1984 graduate of Washington High School, attended the University of Minnesota Dental School for one year, graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Microbiology and Biology, and belonged to Phi-Kappa-Tau Social Fraternity at Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a Parish Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
