MISHAWAKA - Romey Ivory, 53, of
Marianna, Fla., formerly of Mishawaka, died July 12 in Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, Montgomery, Ala., after an illness. Mr.
Ivory was a former employee of Clark Equipment Co. and AM General
Corp. He was born Jan. 28, 1941, in Tupelo, Miss., and lived in
South Bend until moving to Marianna in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Eula (Speights)
Ivory of Marianna; a daughter, Dedri of Marianna; a son, Romey
Jr. of Marianna; three stepsons, Chris Tanner, Keith
Tanner, and Dion Tanner, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; six sisters,
Minnie Bonds and Earline Wardlow, both of Chicago,
Christine Johnson, Willa Riley and Doris Wright,
all of South Bend, and Addie Burton of Kalamazoo; and two
brothers, Robert of Pontiac, Mich., and John of South Bend.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and a
graduate of Mishawaka High School.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Vann
Funeral Home, Marianna. Burial will be in Ebezener Cemetery,
Marianna. Clark's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
