SOUTH BEND - Leon P. Ivory, 70, of East Broadway, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday in his home of natural causes. Mr. Ivory retired from AM General Corp. He was born Oct. 9, 1925, in Tennessee.

In Mississippi, he married Fern Nelson. She survives with a daughter, Regina Herring of South Bend; a son, Leon A. of Memphis, Tenn.; a grandchild; and two sisters, Sharon Rowan of Gary and Bernice Ivory of Indianapolis. He was a Navy veteran.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Alford's Mortuary. Friends may call an hour before services.
