Norman Imus: (South Bend Tribune 7/16/1975)

Norman Imus, 82, who lived with his sister-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Imus, 55474 Meadowview, died at 8:35 a.m. today in the Carlyle Nursing Home after a four-month illness. He was a retired Studebaker Corp. employe. Born Sept. 26, 1892, in Eckford, Mich., he had lived here 46 years, coming from Canada. In 1942 he married Sophie Liszewski, who died in 1960. Surviving are two brothers, Leonard of Bismarck, N.D., and Edward of Elkhart. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan. Rev. John McFarland, pastor of the Peoples Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
