Virginia (Ruffner) Imbro, 77, of
Westfield, Ind., went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on H
is birthday, Christmas Day. She died from complications after
heart surgery in Saint Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born on May 31, 1924, in Mishawaka,
Ind., to Esther (Smith) and Clarence Ruffner. On June 14,
1947, in South Bend, Ind., she married Vincent Imbro, who died in
1979. She is survived by six daughters, Donna Bauer of
Chicago, Ill., Judy Ray of Madison, Wis., Vickie (Mrs.
Ken) Weaver of Xenia, Ohio, Becky (Mrs. Jerry) Grondin
of Tualatin, Ore., Debra (Mrs. Randy) Gerber of
Noblesville, Ind., and Kathy Myers of Westfield; a son,
Mark (Barb) Imbro of Noblesville; a sister, Maxine
"Mick" (Bud) Davis of Granger, Ind.; a brother,
Jack Ruffner of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Brianna Wetek,
Vanessa Sulzer, K.C., David and Daniel Weaver, Nicole and
Shannon Grondin, Brad, Andrew and Eric Gerber, Mary Esther, Aaron
and Josephine Myers, and Mackenzie and Jacob Imbro; and a
great-granddaughter, Arianna Wetek.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the
Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka, with The Reverend Joseph B. Flatt
Jr. Entombment will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola,
Ind. Friends may call two hours before services in the Bubb
Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Billy Graham
Evangelistic Association, P.O. Box 799, Minneapolis, MN 55440.
The Wagner and Hughes Family Mortuary, Noblesville, is handling
arrangements.
