MISHAWAKA - Robert I. Iden, 51, of Churubusco, Ind., formerly of Mishawaka, died at 6:20 a.m. Monday after a motorcycle-truck accident near the intersection of Indiana 205 and Madden Road, east of Churubusco. Mr. Iden was employed by API Construction, LaOtto, Ind., as a truck driver.
He was born June 19, 1943, in Mishawaka. On May 15, 1965, in Waynedale, Ind., he married Donna Tester. She survives with a daughter, Tina Gatchell of Columbia City, Ind.; a son, Robert R. of Churubusco; four grandchildren; his parents, Evelyn and Ray Iden of Mishawaka; three sisters, Sandra Phereson of Mishawaka, Shirley Coe of Tri Lakes, Ind., and Sharon Waller of Rowson, Ohio; and a brother, Jerry of Mishawaka. He was an Army veteran.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco. Burial will be in Eeel River Cemetery, Churubusco.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
