Florence L. Iczkowski, age 89,
formerly of W. Dunham St., South Bend, died at 7:48 p.m. Saturday
at Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Iczkowski
was born January 6, 1910, in South Bend. Most of her life she
resided in South Bend on W. Dunham St., except for a period of
time she was a resident of Chesterton, Indiana.
She married Frank Iczkowski, who died in
1969. Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Mary Kurpiewski
and Esther Wegner; and three brothers, Steve, Walter and
Leo Lyczynski. She is survived by two sisters, Nettie Robakowski
of South Bend and Eleanor Beehler of Niles, Michigan. She
was a very special aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m.
until 8:00 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S.
Mayflower Road, where a Rosary will be said at 4:00 p.m. Services
will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Casimir Catholic Church of
which she was a member. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph
Cemetery. Mrs. Iczkowski was a member of the Senior Citizens of
St. Casimir Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made
