SOUTH BEND - Sork Huy, 64, residing in South Bend, passed away at 8:17 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, in Hospice House where he was admitted on Saturday. He was born July 15, 1944, in Cambodia, and moved to South Bend in March 1985, coming from Cambodia. Mr. Huy had been employed with Food Services at the University of Notre Dame for the past 22 years. In 1966, in Cambodia, he was united in marriage to Sao Nen, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Leb and Le Lem, both of South Bend; a son, Chea Leb of Michigan City; a sister-in-law, Suon Nen, and a niece, Elena Nen, both of South Bend.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend. Rev. Patrick Gaffney, CSC, will officiate. Following services, cremation will take place at Southlawn Cremation Services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Saturday.
