Nov. 8, 1925 - Mar. 10, 2010OSCEOLA - Jeanne Irma Hutchison, 84 passed away on Wednesday March 10 in her daughter's home in Rossville, Georgia. Jeanne was born November 8, 1925 in Mishawaka as the daughter of the late Michael and Rosa (Pauwel) Van Houtdreve. On July 9, 1949 in South Bend as Jeanne I. Van Houtdreve she married Robert L. Hutchison who preceded her in death on May 7, 2001. Jeanne is survived by on daughter Peggy Pickett of Rossville, Georgia. Two grandchildren Taylor Lee Pickett and Tenesa Rose Pickett, One Brother George (Stella) Van Houtdreve of Mishawaka. Jeanne retired in 1990 from Elkhart Community School Corporation after 25 years of service. Serving as an administrative assistant. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Osceola. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2:00 - 8:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka. Mass of Christian will be held on Tuesday March 16 in Queen of Peace Catholic Church 4508 Vistula Road Mishawaka with Rev. Daniel Scheidt officiating. Burial will follow in Chapel Memorial Gardens Osceola. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society .
