MISHAWAKA - Joseph Michael Husvar, 90, of Runaway Bay, Apt. 327, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend. Mr. Husvar was an engineer for 48 years with Studebaker Corp., retiring in 1966.

He was born Sept. 13, 1903, in Hungary, and lived in Mishawaka all his life. On Dec. 10, 1938, in Gary, he married Theresa Balka. She died Jan. 26, 1980. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly G. Risdom of Prescott, Ariz.; a grandson, Mark Jungers of Falls Church, Va.; and a sister, Margaret Stump of Indianapolis. He was a member of St. Matthew Cathedral.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Hahn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Cancer Society.
