MISHAWAKA - Marjorie J. Huston, 74, of Lilac Drive in
Mishawaka, passed away of natural causes at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday,
February 12, 2008, in Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Marjorie
was born August 18, 1933, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Alburto
"Bill" and Mable (Evans) Wells.
On February 1, 1963, Marjorie was united in
marriage to Dale E. Huston in Mishawaka, Indiana. He preceded her
in death, passing away in 1979. Survivors include her children,
Dale Huston of Elkhart, Indiana, Dennis Huston of Arizona, Teresa
(Michael) Ferrell of South Bend, Indiana, Marti Huston of
Arizona, Jennifer (Robert) Oley of Granger, Indiana, and
Rana (Randy) Hoel of Elwood, Indiana. Also surviving are
her brothers and sisters, James (Rosemarie) Wells of Portage,
Michigan, Janice Sue Clark of South Bend, Indiana, David
Wells and Jean Hopkins, both of Mishawaka, Indiana.
Surviving as well are 17 grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren. Preceding Marjorie in death were her sons,
Michael, James and Bradd Huston.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
today, February 14, 2008, in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home in
Osceola. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the
11:00 a.m. funeral services on Friday conducted at New Creation
Fellowship Church, 30190 C.R. 10 in Granger, Indiana. Interment
will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
Marjorie was a graduate of Mishawaka High
School, class of 1951. She was a homemaker and loved to care for
children. In her spare time, Marjorie was an active member of New
Creation Fellowship Church, and volunteered at the New Creation
Academy. She and her husband were also involved with both the
East End and Cleveland Little League parks. In her memory,
donations may be made to the New Creation Academy in Granger.
