MISHAWAKA - Kathleen G. Hurley, 76, of Dale Avenue, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away after a very brief illness on Tuesday morning, April 28, in her home. Kathleen was born in South Bend, Ind., on Aug. 4, 1921, to Norman and Gladys (Chamberlin) O'Donnell, and remained a lifelong area resident.

On Nov. 16, 1940, in Rensselaer, Ind., Kathleen married Jasper "Jack" Hurley, who preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1988. She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Sue Graser of Mishawaka; five sons, Jack N. Hurley of New Bern, N.C., Dennis R. and Thomas E. Hurley, both of Mishawaka, James M. Hurley of South Bend and Timothy P. Hurley of North Liberty, Ind.; and by 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today in the Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home, Mishawaka. Friends may also call from one hour prior to her services which will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 1, in the funeral home, with Rev. Karen Cornwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, South Bend.
