MISHAWAKA - Dennis R. Hurley, 64, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday morning, May 26, 2007, in Ironwood Health & Rehabilitation, South Bend. Dennis was born January 6, 1943, in South Bend, a son of the late Jasper and Kathleen (O'Donnell) Hurley. He spent most of his life in Mishawaka and was a 1961 graduate of Mishawaka High School. Dennis was employed for 17 years at Dodge Manufacturing and 14 years at Deck Manufacturing. Dennis loved automobiles; especially antique cars, which he enjoyed working on and restoring. He also liked tinkering in the garage and yard work. Dennis also enjoyed NASCAR racing, country music and socializing with friends. He was a former member of the Eagle's in Mishawaka. Dennis was especially fond on spending time with his granddaughters.

Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Debra Hurley and Terri (Michael) Gregory all of Mishawaka; three granddaughters, Kristeen Yuris, Kayla Morgart and Alyssa Gregory; a great granddaughter, Amber Fulkerson; a sister, Kathleen Sue Graser; and four brothers, Jack N. Hurley, Thomas E. Hurley, James M. Hurley and Timothy P. Hurley.

Friends may spend time with the family on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in Thallemer, Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 West Third Street, Mishawaka. Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Arthritis Foundation. Envelopes are available in the funeral home.
