Velma L. Hunt

Velma L. Hunt, 88, formerly of Sarah Street, Mishawaka, Ind., died at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, in the Parkwood Health Care Center, Lebanon, Ind.
Velma was born on Jan. 25, 1912, in Mishawaka, to the late Willard and Mabel (Love) Partridge, and in 1967 by her husband, Donald E. Hunt, who she married in Mishawaka on May 23, 1936.
She had lived in this area until 1998 when she moved to Lebanon. Velma was a member of Albright United Methodist Church and the Women's Christian Service of the church. She had formerly worked at Peoples Federal Savings and Loan as a teller, and at Albright United Methodist Church as a secretary.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Karl) Lundeen of Oconomowoc, Wis.; a son, Douglas (Jo-Ann) Hunt of Lebanon; a sister, Veda Albright of Plainfield, Ind.; five grandchildren, Jon Lundeen of Stevens Point, Wis., Tim Lundeen of Milwaukee, Wis., Scott Lundeen of LaCrosse, Wis., James Nossett, M.D., of Brownsburg, Ind., Leigh Hunt of Noblesville, Ind.; and by five great- grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main Street, Mishawaka.
