South Bend, Nancy Carter Hunt, 65, of South Twyckenham Drive, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Hunt was born April 1, 1929, in Saginaw, Mich. and lived in South Bend since 1974, coming from Indianapolis.

On June 30, 1951, in Saginaw, as Nancy Carter, she married Robert W. Hunt. He survives, with two daughters, Leslie J. Motter of Mansfield, Ohio and Catherine Waldschmidt of South Bend; two sons, Henry C. of Danville, Ill. and William T. of South Bend; nine grandchildren; and a brother, Don F. Carter of Phoenixville, Pa. She was a graduate of the University of Michigan, member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, Newcomers Club, and South Bend County Club.

Private graveside services and burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Highland Cemetery. Cremation will take place. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc., United Way of St. Joseph
