Nora Louise Hunsberger

MISHAWAKA – A lifetime resident of St. Joseph County, Mrs. Nora L. Hunsberger, 67, of Indiana 331, south of Mishawaka, died at 2 a.m. today in her home. She had been in ill health for the last three years. She was born in Madison Township. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformer Church, Woodland and of the Women’s Guild of that church.

As Miss Nara L. Schalliol she married Elmer Hunsberger in Mishawaka Dec. 18, 1917. He died Oct. 16, 1947. Surviving are three sons, Omar D. and James E. Hunsberger, both at home, and Donald A. Hunsberger of Wyatt; five grandchildren; four brothers, Walter Schalliol of Mishawaka, Victor and Grover Schalliol of route 1 Mishawaka and Tod Schalliol os South Bend, and two sisters, Mrs. Clem Mochel of Woodland and Mrs. Edward F. Hahn of Mishawaka.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. John’s Church in Woodland. Rev. Adolph Friz, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today and until 11:30 Sunday when the body will be taken to the church. Friends may call there from 1 p.m. until the funeral service.
