MISHAWAKA - JoAnn Hunsberger, 62, of Mishawaka, passed away in her sister's residence during the early morning hours of April 3rd after an extended illness. JoAnn was born on October 26, 1944, in Mishawaka, to the late Ashely A. and Geraldine (Norblad) Lawson.

On July 24, 1965, in South Bend, she married Clarance L. Hunsberger. Clarance preceded her in death on January 16, 2003. JoAnn is survived by her son, Robert Hunsberger of Dansville, Michigan. She is also survived by a sister, Nancy Coppens of Mishawaka; two brothers, Robert Lawson of Mishawaka and Richard Lawson of Providence, Rhode Island. She was a grandmother of six grandchildren and a great-grandmother of sixteen. JoAnn was preceded recently by a brother, Jack Lawson, and by a great-granddaughter, Angela.

Visitation is to be held on Saturday, April 7th, from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. A service celebrating JoAnn's life will be held at 5 p.m. in the funeral home, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
