GRANGER - Crystal J. Huneryager, 78, of Granger, passed away on August. 4, 2010 in Elkhart Hospice House. She was born to Oscar and Rosetta (Bickel) Matz on April 18, 1932 in Mishawaka. Crystal married Roger Huneryager on June 3, 1961 in Mishawaka. She loved her flower garden, bird watching and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Roger; son, Eric (Donna) Huneryager of Peru, IN; sister, Marjorie Dittman of South Bend; brothers, George Matz of Mishawaka, and Richard (Darlene) Matz of Lafayette, IN; and grandchildren, Paul and Holly Huneryager. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters. Her family expresses appreciation to the nursing staff at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, and especially the nursing staff at Elkhart Hospice House. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday August 7, 2010 in Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, 403 W. Franklin St., Elkhart. No funeral services have been planned. Memorials can be made to the Center for Hospice and Palliative care.
