SOUTH BEND - Peter A. Hull, 78, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 4:10 AM Monday, June 23, 2008, in the Sanctuary at St. Paul's. He retired from Balcrank-Wheelabrator in 1989 following 28 years of service. He was born on August 22, 1929, in Longhorn, PA, to Marcus E. and Lillian (Robinson) Hull. He was raised in the Cincinnati area and married Billie Osterhaus in Mariemont, OH, on December 26, 1951. They raised their children in the Cincinnati area, later moved to South Bend, IN, and Asheville, NC, and then returned to South Bend in 1991. His wife, Billie Hull, preceded him in death on January 7, 2005. Mr. Hull is survived by two daughters, Robyn A. (Scott) Sult and Lynn K. (Ric) Wade, both of South Bend; his son, James M. Hull of Goshen, OH; eight grandchildren, Celeste Hull, Adam (Kari) Hull, T.J. (Trina) Sult, Matt Sult, Chadd Sult, Erica (Nate) Andis, Kevin Wade and Randa Wade; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Hull was a 50-year member of the Masonic Emery Lodge #258 F.&A.M., Loveland, Ohio.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 8:00 PM today, June 25th, in the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN. Private graveside services will be held Thursday at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN. Contributions in memory of Peter A. Hull may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
