Jack Huff, 75, formerly of Mishawaka,
died Wednesday morning, Dec. 25, in his residence in Bloomington,
Ind., after an illness. He had resided in Mishawaka until 10
years ago when he moved to Bloomington. Jack was born in Columbia
City, Ind., on April 26, 1921.
On July 20, 1946, he married the former
Rosanne Pahucki, who preceded him in death on Nov. 3,
1970. On Dec. 3, 1971, he married the former Sara Rosier,
who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Margaret Ann Sanderson
of Redmond, Wash., a son, Edward P. Huff of South Bend, a
stepdaughter, Mary Sabaj of Lansing, Mich.; two
granddaughters; three sisters, Donna Ziegert and Beverly Dodd,
both of South Bend and Dixie Binney of Evansville, Ind.; a
brother, Robert Huff of Lakeville; and a half brother, Hubert Staton
of Lena, Ill.
Jack retired in 1986 from the Indiana Toll
Road where he was their Purchasing Agent. He was a World War II
Army veteran serving from 1942 to 1945, and earning the Bronze
Star. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Charles
Church, both in Bloomington.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8
p.m Sunday, Dec. 29, in Thallemer-Goethals Funeral Home,
Mishawaka, where a Wake Service will take place at 2:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, in St. Monica
Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with burial following in St. Joseph
Valley Memorial Park, Granger.
