Kenneth H. Hubler

July 11, 1924 - April 3, 1998

Kenneth H. Hubler, 73, of South Bend, Ind., died at 6:15 a.m. on Friday, April 3, in St. Joseph's Medical Center.

He was born on July 11, 1924, in South Bend, to Goldie (Lemons) and Harry Hubler, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Robert Hubler.

On Sept. 5, 1959, in South Bend, he married Marie Kull, who survives.

He is also survived by three daughters, Kari L. Hubler and her friend, Julie Trojanowski of Fort Wayne, Ind., Patricia J. Robertson and her husband, Thomas of South Bend, and Jacquelyn S. Czarnecki of South Bend; a son, Douglas M. Kull and his wife, Shirley of South Bend; and by eight grandchildren, Bryan, Todd, Gina and Paige Robertson, Keith, Chad and Kelly Czarnecki and Dane Kull.

Mr. Hubler was a member of Northwest United Methodist church. He was also a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America and the American Association of Retired Persons.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the South Pacific. While in the Army, he earned a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star.

Private services were held for Mr. Hubler. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.

Welsheimer Funeral Home handled services.
