Sharon R. Horvath (Oct. 6, 1946 -- Feb. 28, 2004).
Sharon "Shari" Rae Horvath, 57, of Dunn Road, Osceola,
Ind., passed away at 5:26 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004,
surrounded by her family in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Shari was born Oct. 6, 1946, to Raymond and Irene (Hegedus) Van
Der Heyden in South Bend. On Feb. 9, 1966, in Our Lady of Hungary
Church in South Bend, she married Jim Lee Horvath.
Shari was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are her husband, Jim Horvath of Osceola; a daughter,
Kelly (Steve) Cahall of Granger, Ind.; a son, Kevin (Becky)
Horvath of Osceola; her mother, Irene Van Der Heyden of South
Bend; a sister, Kathy (Bob) Parker of Sebring, Fla.; five
grandchildren, Kristen Horvath, Kevin Horvath Jr., Brandon
Reasonover, Tyler Cahall and Jordan Cahall; a sister-in-law, Gail
(Robert) Early of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a brother-in-law, David
Horvath of Phoenix.
Shari requested a private family service at Chapel Hill Funeral
Home, Osceola, on Tuesday, March 2.
Shari was a legal secretary and formerly employed by Henry Hoover
Attorney at Law, Hammer, Schmidt & Bonewitz, and
May-Oberfel-Lorber. She attended IUSB and I.U. Bloomington.
