MISHAWAKA - Mary A. Horvath, 82, formerly of Mishawaka,
passed away at Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation Center, South
Bend. Mary was born on October 6, 1925, in South Bend, as the
daughter of Steve and Ursula (Horvath) Toth. They both
preceded her in death.
On June 26, 1948, as Mary A. Toth, she was
married to the love of her life, John F. Horvath at St. Stephen's
Catholic Church in South Bend. He preceded her in death on March
28, 1972. Mary is survived by two sisters, Ann (Herb) Avery
of Edwardsburg, MI, and Marge (Jack) Lowman of Granger,
IN. Also surviving are two aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Mary retired from St. Joseph Medical Center, South Bend as a
cashier in the cafeteria. She was also a member of St. Pius X
Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Pius X
Catholic School or to Holy Cross Health and Rehabilitation
Center.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place
at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Friends
will be received one hour prior to the services at the church.
Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Bubb Funeral
Chapel is handling arrangements.
