MISHAWAKA - Clementine ''Clemie'' Horvath,
86, of Sugar Pine Drive, passed away at 6:55 a.m. on Saturday,
July 24, in her son's residence. Mrs. Horvath had been employed
by the former Tower Federal Bank, and was a volunteer with St.
Joseph's Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 11, 1913, in South
Bend, Ind., to John and Kathryn Lesniewicz, who both
preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by two sisters,
Henrietta Heck and Stephanie Lievens; and by three
brothers, Henry Lesniewicz, Elgin Lesniewicz and Roman
Lesniewicz.
On Aug. 25, 1934, in South Bend, as
Clementine Lesniewicz, she married John L. Horvath, who also
preceded her in death on July 3, 1977. She is survived by a
daughter, Kathleen (Jerry) Foley of Valrico, Fla.; two
sons, Dr. George A. (Paula) Horvath of South Bend and Dr. John L.
''Jack'' (Susan) Horvath of Carmel, Ind.; eight grandchildren,
Lisa Horvath, Kimberly (Chris) Hall, Andrew Horvath, Todd
Foley, Seth Foley, Laurel Horvath, David (Sheila) Horvath and
Peter Horvath; and by two great-grandchildren, Jacob Horvath and
Carson Hall. Mrs. Horvath was a member of Our Lady of Hungary
Church, the St. Ann Society, Daughters of Isabella, and the
Circle of Mercy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, in Our Lady of Hungary
Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the Zahoran
Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be
recited at 5 p.m. by the St. Ann Society and the Daughters of
Isabella. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that
memorial contributions be made to the Divine Word Missionaries,

Verbiti, 1-C.P. 5080, 00154 Roma, Italy.
