Waldo L. Hoover, 84, of the Milton Home in South Bend, IN, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2001, in the home. Mr. Hoover was born July 21, 1916, in South Bend to the late John and Millie (Jackson) Hoover, and had lived in Dowagiac, MI for many years. He was employed by the Dowagiac United School Corporation and had previously been employed by the former Studebaker Corporation.

On July 16, 1938, Waldo married Harriett J. Kazmierzak who preceded him in death on December 24, 1996. Sisters, Stella Sarber, Jane Bendes, Vera Kern and brothers, Bill, Edward, and Jesse Hoover all preceded him in death. Surviving is a brother, George W. (Marcea May) Hoover of South Bend and a sister-in-law, Inez Hoover of Anchorage, AK.
