Ida Mae Hoover
March 13, 1909 - March 21, 1999
Ida Mae Grace Hoover, 90, of Bulla Street, South Bend, Ind.,
passed away after an illness at 10:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 21,
in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind.
Mrs. Hoover was born on March 13, 1909, in Berne, Ind., as the
daughter of the late Edward and Della (Teeter) Elliott. On Jan.
22, 1934, in Plymouth, Ind., as the former Ida Elliott, she
married Everett Hoover, who also preceded her in death on Jan.
15, 1977.
Mrs. Hoover is survived by a sister, Nellie Siekmann of
Edwardsburg, Mich. She is also survived by several nieces and
nephews who will cherish her memory and miss her dearly.
Mrs. Hoover was employed by St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka,
for fifteen years and retired from there in 1969. She was also a
member of Redeemer Missionary Church, South Bend.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Hahn
Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, in
the funeral home, with Rev. Jeff Hossler, pastor of Redeemer
Missionary Church, South Bend, officiating. Burial will follow in
Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Osceola, Ind.

Care Visiting Nurse Association, 711 E. Colfax Avenue, South Bend,
