Valentine (Vallie) Honold

February 14, 1874 – April 5, 1951

Valentine (Vallie) Honold, an employee at Healthwin Hospital, was discovered dead in his room at the hospital this morning.  At noon today Coroner t. C. Goraczewski could not be reached for a statement. His office had been otified of the death.

He was born in Badon, Germany, February 14, 1874, and came here at the age of 24 years.  He was married to Emma Kempries, who is deceased.

He was employed by the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company 25 years before his retirement in 1943.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edward R. Quinn, South Bend; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. George Fishburn, Mishawaka and a half sister, Miss Teresa Amam, South Bend.

Friends may call in the Hickey Funeral Home after noon Friday until funeral services tentatively scheduled for 2:30pm Saturday in the funeral home.  He was a member of the Mishawaka Maccabee Lodge.
